Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct has been developed to uphold the values and culture of LFNC, ensuring good behaviour and a positive environment within our club and the wider community.
All players, caregivers, and supporters are expected to;
Respect the rights, dignity and worth of fellow players, coaches, officials and spectators.
Conduct themselves in a responsible manner relating to language, temper and punctuality.
Care for and respect the uniform and equipment provided to you.
Be frank and honest with your coach concerning illness and injury and your ability to train and play fully.
Abide by the rules and respect the decision of the umpires. Be courteous and use the correct process when seeking a rule clarification.
Be honest in your attitude and preparation for training, work equally hard for yourself and your team.
Always uphold the integrity of the game.
Never engage in verbal or physical confrontation with any fellow or opposition club member, player, coach or spectator. If you have an issue, please make a time to speak with the Grievance Officer or a coach.
At all times, respect the appointed umpires and their decision - work together to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming culture at each KDFNL match. Never enter the field/court of active play at any time. For those volunteers who must, the KFNL has a zero tolerance for interactions with umpires and opposition players.
Always act in the best interests of the game, your club and the league.
Provide documentation and accreditation records as requested by the league and your club.
Never at any stage damage the image or reputation of the KDFNL
Abide by all other KDFNL and club policies and by-laws.
Never approach a coach on game day, any concerns or grievances can be taken up with the Grievance Officer (will be wearing an organe vest on game day).
If you wish to dicuss matters with a coach, make a time that suits you both.
