1. Netball Coordinator (Subcommittee Chair) — Tania Chiswell

Purpose: Oversee the netball program and act as the key link between the subcommittee and the main LFNC committee.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads the netball subcommittee and meetings

  • Ensure alignment with club vision and policies

  • Coordinate overall planning, budgeting, and operations

  • Acts as the liaison between the subcommittee and the main club committee

  • Oversees netball operations

  • Liase with the league where necessary

  • Provide support, checklists and reminders to Team Managers

  • Recruitment

2. Junior Netball Coordinator — Lisa Booth

Purpose: Be the go-to person for junior team managers, coaches and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help coordinate team selections

  • Support families and junior players (especially new ones)

  • Help coordinate team junior onboarding, including trials, coaching announcements, and recruitment

  • Coordinate junior communications with Publicity Officer

  • Liase with the league where necessary

3. Publicity Officer — Jaleigha Hart & Millie Hill

(Branding & marketing - Lisa Booth)

Purpose: Keep all club members informed, celebrate club successes and build a professional, inclusive and exciting brand for our club within the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Share weekly game updates, training info, and club news

  • Share social media updates

  • Coordinate weekly game photos

4. Netball Secretary — Tanya Croxford

Purpose: Keep club members in the loop, prepare rosters and make sure communication is smooth, timely, and inclusive.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare agendas and take minutes for subcommittee meetings

  • Prepare the netball scoring/time-keeping roster 

  • Submit KDL record reports each week

  • Help identify and apply for funding and/or grant opportunities

  • Manage email and correspondence

  • Share information with coaches, players, and families (e.g., rosters, draws, updates, cancellations)

5. Uniform & Equipment Officer — Laura Thompson

Purpose: Looks after the dollars and the gear.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the main club treasurer

  • Order uniforms and maintain equipment (balls, bibs, first aid kits and dresses)

6. Umpire Coordinator — Ali Backway

Purpose: Make sure every game has a fair and confident umpire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Roster umpires for home games

  • Support and mentor new or junior umpires

  • Keep track of accreditation and liaise with the league as needed

  • Rosters umpires for home games

  • Supports umpire development, accreditation, and communication

  • Liaises with league umpire coordinator

7. Complaints and Grievances Officer - Sherry Atkins

Purpose: Support coaches and help players grow their skills and confidence across all grades.

Once a complaint or grievance has been logged, the process will be completed online.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete KFNL online requirements

  • Provide support for all coaches and players where necessary

  • Wear the orange vest on game days

  • Deal with matters of concern or grievance

  • Work with Netball Coordinators to resolve any concerns or grievances

8. Game Day Teams — Under 15 and A Grade

Purpose: Make home games run like clockwork by completing set-up and pack up

Key Responsibilities:

  • Everyone works as a team to complete jobs quickly

  • Set up or pack up courts, scoreboards, scoresheets, benches, and signage

  • Ensure first aid and umpire needs are met

  • Complete court reports for home games (set up only)

  • Support visiting teams and umpires

9. Recruitment Officer - Michelle Hill

Purpose: Work with Netball Coordinators to recruit players for the following season.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on recruiting players to the LFNC

  • Supports recruitment, mentoring and ongoing support for coaches

  • Oversees player development initiatives (eg skills clinics, fitness programs)

  • Provide support for all coaches and players where necessary

10. Team Managers x 8

Purpose: Support coaches and help players.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary point of contact and communication for parents and players

  • Be a sounding board for the coach when/if required

  • Report any problems that may arise amongst team members, parents, the coach and supporters to the Netball Coordinator or, for juniors, the Junior Netball Coordinator

  • Ensure all welfare and safety requirements for the team are met

11. Junior Fitness Trainer/Specialist/Support - Ally Harding

Purpose: Be the go-to person for junior coaches and players for fitness support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a point of contact for support and ideas about player fitness

  • Provide targeted training sessions and assistance on Tuesday night trainings in line with the coach/s requirements

  • Plan, deliver, and provide feedback on specialised junior club fitness sessions

  • Provide 1:1 plans for individual players where required
